This research proposes a new framework for motion analysis and editing using Hilbert-Huang transform(HHT) and attempts to extract unique features from complicated motion, such as dance motions. We decompose motion into several pseudo monochromatic waves using Empirical Mode Decomposition(EMD). As an example, the video shows how the proposed framework decomposes motion in the instantaneous frequency domain.
